Position: Family Program Coordinator
Mary began working inthe Alcohol and Drug field 30 years ago and retired as an Executive Director in 2012 after 25 years at a Gold Coast Treatment Service. Mary then travelled overseas for some rest and relaxation but upon returning, joined the Goldbridge Team and has been with Goldbridge part-time ever since in various positions.
To add to her formal qualifications, in 2015 she completed a 6 month parenting course at Griffith University and is now a qualified PUP therapist. ‘Parents Under Pressure’ (PUP) is a comprehensive parenting program for parents with complex needs and Mary has been working inthe Goldbridge Family Program every since.
She says she has grown to love and admire the Goldbridge model of treatment and believes that the Therapeutic Community is one of the best judging by the number of clients finishing the program. Mary believes tha the last few years of part-time family therapy work have given her much joy and satisfaction.
